Louisiana Cultural Music Preservation Foundation is a 501c.3. non-profit organization.
We seek to preserve and promote Louisiana music and its unique cultural traditions, and educate current and future generations about its legacy as a seedbed for America's musical legacy.

The Foundation is supporting Jazz Fest Live which has digitally recorded and preserved over 1,000 live music concerts for over two decades at the annual New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. Two of the recordings have won Grammy Awards, and seven have been nominated.

Our support has directly contributed economically to over 600 bands and musical artists. By recording and producing what would otherwise have been unknown musical performances the artists now receive sales and merchandising income from these recordings.
Educate

Educate
Through the Foundation’s support, dozens of students at the College of Music & Media at Loyola University, New Orleans are given weeklong internships at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival to get hands-on experience in recording and preserving Louisiana music.
